Garden of Wisdom's Argan Oil is 100% pure and certified organic. Imported from Morocco, our argan oil is rich and high in essential unsaturated fatty acids, making it great for improving the health and youthfulness of skin. Soothing and anti-inflammatory, argan oil calms irritated and swollen skin. It heals damaged skin and assists in treating skin conditions such as eczema. Perfect for sensitive and dry skin, argan softens rough skin, leaving it smooth and touchable.
This oil smells of Argan nuts. Please do not expect a "refined", less rich oil. Due to the nature of this oil, it sometimes has a very strong smell of Argan and other times it does not. It depends on the seasonal batch.

Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life. Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please Keep Your Products Out of Humidity, Heat, Direct Light and in a Dark Cabinet When Possible
Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark
Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it to a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator. Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take the oil out, warm it up at room temperature, and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. Some oils, like coconut cream and jojoba oil, have a super long shelf life.
Refrigeration of The Following Ingredients is Not Necessary, But it Won't hurt
Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place. Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated. Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove what you need and keep the rest in the fridge. Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years. Herbs All herbs <i>(whole or ground)</i> should be kept in a dark, cool, and dry location. Herbal (liquid) Extracts are created using grain alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herb, root, trunk, leaf, and flower. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be stored in the refrigerator or a dark, dry place. Other Raw Ingredients - such as Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc., will all have different shelf lives.
I bought the Argan Oil Organic to use on my scalp, but , unfortunately, I didn't get the results that I was looking for.....I wanted a moisturizing effect, but, my hair was very dry.....I still very excited about discovering your website and I plan to try your other products....Thank you!

Loving My GOW Oils!
I have used Jose Maran argan oil for years, and recently ordered a few sample oils from GOW. Now I have a new addiction. They are all so good that I can't even say that I love one more than the other. I ordered argan, jojoba, black raspberry, and a combo mix called Clarify and Rejuvenate Oil. OH MY GOSH! I think i'm in oil heaven. These oils are not only giving me great hydration, but are minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and making my skin look like a baby's bottom, and it can't get more smooth than that. Right? Since i'm alternating these oils, I don't know which one is fading away a few dark spots on my face that have been there for a long time. The spots have almost disappeared. I will continue to use these oils that I have, then order more when I run out, and as I write this, I already have my cart loaded to the max with other oils I want to try along with these that I have. For years I have used argan oil and I found it to be so good, but I didn't realize that these other oils could do as much if not more for my skin. I will continue to buy argan as long as I live. I also am in love with the jojoba oil that is also good for my hair. Also, I trust GOW completely and know that I will always receive fresh and new products that haven't been on the shelf for a long time and smelling bad. Thanks GOW for all of your wonderful products.

This was my first time using this so I can only go by what I know so far. I really like this oil for two reasons. It works great for my hair, which is why I bought it...but it also does wonders for my twitchy, eczema-prone skin. I only bought the small size so when it's gone I will definitely buy the bigger bottle. I was a bit hesitant because of the disclaimer about the smell, since I am sensitive to that but it did not have much of an odor at all and it did not bother me. The fact that I can use it on both skin and hair makes this a keeper for me.

This cream is so healing to my skin. I have a sensitivity to citrus products and get a terrible rash and my face will itch. This is the only product that calms my skin.I apply this and within a few hours the rash has diminished and the itchiness is gone. The Calendula Blossom Cream has saved my skin.

This product has become a required staple in my skincare routine. I use it everyday on my very sensitive skin that is prone to redness and dryness. Sometimes, you just need a great soothing moisturizer, and this one is my new favorite! I recently graduated from using retinol to tretinoin and whoaaaaa boy.
