In general, people tend to use too much product. Our products are concentrated, so use less than you think! Also, with a hydrator and a serum, you can put the desired amount into your clean palm and emulsify with your fingertips. If your skin is particularly dry or tight, add a few drops of your favorite oil to the palm emulsion. Spritz your face and gently pat it into your face and neck. This application method also helps the product(s) to glide over the skin and keeps wasted product to a minimum.
Cleansers - We generally suggest using between 1/8th tsp and 1/4th tsp of cleanser, though you can adjust it to your skin's needs. Cleansers are typically applied to wet skin. Our cleansers work best with a damp, warm washcloth (bamboo or cotton are best) to remove the cleanser. Please use a fresh washcloth for each routine.
Tonics - You'll want to use enough to wet your skin thoroughly or wet the pad enough to wipe your skin with it. If you use the tonic on a cotton pad, it helps with gentle exfoliation without overdoing it.
Masks - Always use less product than you think you need! You don't need a thick layer! This can make the mask more challenging to remove.
Serums - 1/16th tsp to 1/4th tsp, depending on how much your skin needs. You can also use 4-6 drops of product if you don't have the measuring spoons.
Oils - Use between 3 and 4 drops of oil generally or 1/16th of tsp butter or butter blend. These can also be mixed with your hydrating serum to create a moisturizer right in the palm of your hand (without the waxes).
Moisturizers - Use 1/16th tsp to 1/4th tsp (vary to your liking).
