Caring for Our Products.
Q: Someone suggested I try a 'patch test;' What is this?
A: A patch test is easily done on your own body, by yourself on the inside of your elbow toward your wrist (closer to elbow is best). Here's our suggestion;
1. Place a good amount of the product on that skin area and cover it with a gauze covered with a waterproof tape so it stays on and doesn't get wet (we use band-aid water block plus band-aids because they are small with waterproof tape all the way around - very discrete).
2. Wait two days to verify if you will have a reaction, but if you want to be completely confident, wait four full days.
Q: What are Liposomes?
A: Liposomes have emerged as very efficient drug carrier systems that make nutrients and other therapeutic agents more bio-available within the body. You may have heard of liposomal supplements but do you know why are they so fantastic?
The word ‘liposome’ is derived from two Greek words: 'Lipos' (which means fat) and 'Soma' (which means body). Liposomes were first discovered in 1964 by Alec Bangham and his colleague R.W. Thorne when they were examining a dispersion of phospholipids in water under an electron microscope. Today, liposomes are used as structures that encapsulate and carry drugs, nutrients, and cosmetic agents directly to the cells and tissues for improved uptake and absorption.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: At this time Garden of Wisdom accepts Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover. We also happily accept all PayPal and Apple Pay payments.
Q: Do you test on animals?
A: We do not test on animals or use ingredients tested on animals.
We do not condone anyone doing animal testing. This is such a barbaric practice, we do not know why any company is still even doing this. Yep, we said it!
We do test on willing human subjects (aka our staff :D) and we also send samples out at times to customers. :)
We do use and sell ingredients that are animal based (like Emu Oil, but most of our line does not have animal ingredients.
See this page for more information - Animal/Insect (Bee) Derived ingredients we use or carry?
100% of our ingredients are listed on each page for our products so you would see any animal products in the ingredient list.
