Please Note: We now offer our NEW Formula Azeloyl Glycine 8% Serum and our OLD Formula Azelaic Acid 8% Serum. Please note this when purchasing and make sure you choose the right one from the dropdown menu.

The Azelaic [OLD] version may have a grainy texture, but this is common and it does not alter its efficiency! This is normal and many companies deal with this.

Please Note: If you have not tried these before, please make sure to try a sample size as we don't want you to waste your hard earned money. It's important to make sure your skin is not reactive with these (or any) serums.

We have combined the powerhouse Azeloyl Glycine with Liposomes and Allantoin for effective acne and rosacea control. Azeloyl Glycine is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and has benefits for brightening skin and helping to diminish pigmentation by inhibiting melanin production. It is more gentle, yet known for being more effective than Azelaic Acid.
This product is also effective for Keratosis Pilaris.

Game changer 100%

Ive used everything for my sensitive, textured skin; salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, tretinoin etc. Ive been to the derm, Ive done virtual derm visits. I struggle with very sensitive skin with comedonal and fungal acne so what helps clear my skin usually destroys the rest of it and I have to vacillate between clear skin thats dry and irritated and red, or bumpy and hydrated. I had tried azelaic acid from TO but it didnt do much to clear my texture so I gave up. I decided to try it again and reddit recommended this brand. I love the option to buy .25oz to test. Within a week my skin is smooth, clear, bright, and not at all irritated even if I use it twice a day. I almost cant believe it, I keep checking in the mirror to see if its real. Needless to say, I reordered the 1oz already! Woohoo!

Hi Crabby 😀
It's incredible to hear that you've finally found a solution that works for your sensitive, textured skin, especially after trying so many different treatments and dealing with the constant cycle of irritation and hydration struggles. Azelaic acid is such a versatile ingredient, and it sounds like finding the right brand and formulation has made all the difference for you. The option to test with a smaller size before committing to a full product is a huge plus, as we our brand truly understands what sensitive skin users need.
The fact that you're seeing results so quickly without irritation is a testament to how well this product aligns with your skin's needs. It must feel so rewarding to see smooth, clear, and bright skin when you look in the mirror now. Reordering the (1 oz) size already is a win win and we are happy you've clearly found your holy grail product.
Wishing you continued success on your skincare journey!

Great improvement from regular azelaic acid

I use the Azeloyl Glycine 8% Serum and the biggest thing for me is that it doesn’t sting, compared to other azelaic acid products I have used in the past. I also think this product helps to keep my breakouts at bay. I still get the regular hormonal breakout, but this seems to make them last for a shorter period

Hi Olaitan
Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback! It’s great to hear that the Azeloyl Glycine Serum has been such an improvement for you, especially in terms of comfort and effectiveness. The fact that it doesn’t sting and helps manage breakouts sounds like a significant win, particularly for those of us who deal with hormonal skin changes.
Your experience highlights how small adjustments (or 2nd options) in formulations, like switching to azeloyl glycine, can make a big difference.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your journey. It’s sure to be helpful for others making a similar choice!
Wishing you continued success in your skincare routine! Your GOW team

perfect for sensitive, redness prone skin

I tried so many azelaic acid serums that had too many filler ingredients and caused redness. This one doesn't and is by far the best one I've used!

FILLERS, FILLERS, FILLERS :-D
The big companies are finally starting to realize that consumers are far from ignorant
these days and don't fall for the hype. You touched the base perfectly, thank you.

too soon to say

I started using the acelaic acid two weeks ago, and at first thought it helped a great deal, so I was maybe too enthusiastic with using it everyday, which led to huge breakouts that are still persisting. I want to start using it again, but am afraid of the breakouts, maybe i should start by using it once a week, just not sure when to start again..

Hi Karen! Thank you for your feedback! Please feel free to reach out to our customer service, we can help with tweaking your routine!

Good product, need to be careful

I have been using this product for 2 weeks. That is too little time to make any judgment on its efficacy. However, I would like to note a few things, based on my purchase of the OLD formula:
1. You need to be very careful about how you use it, especially if your skin is sensitive and you have been using other actives. I had stopped using my salicylic acid exfoliator a day before starting the application of this azelaic acid, because I wanted to see how my skin behaves with this product alone. I also read online how 8% not a very strong concentration and hence decided to use it twice a day (AM & PM) from the get go. For the first 4 days, I used it alone without any other actives. However, it felt very abrasive on the skin, led to some redness, tingling and dried out my skin by quite a bit. I had used benzoyl peroxide, and adaplene in the past and thought my skin was pretty hardy and yet, this product did cause some sensitivity. Additionally, on the 3rd day, I noticed some new acne popping up, which might have been purging. So, I started up my salicylic acid as a spot treatment on the new acne. While the new pimples were disappointing, the continued use of azelaic probably helped partially fade the marks from it too, so that wasn't too bad.
2. May be it's because it's the old formula but it's very gritty in nature and can really feel very grainy on the skin and pill on itself. I found that adding it on top of a moisturizer helps prevent sensitivity, over-drying and pilling.
In summary, while I do think it does help fade some PIH, especially ones from recent acne, I do believe one should use caution when using it.

Hi there! Thank you for sharing your experience with our product. We appreciate your feedback! We always recommend patch testing and gradually introducing new products to avoid any potential sensitivity, especially if you have been using other actives. We are glad to hear that you have seen some improvement in your PIH. Thank you for giving our product a try and we hope to continue providing you with great skincare options.
