Twice as strong as our original Oxygen Rich Gel, our Super Charged version is excellent for fighting acne. This product is our replacement for Benzoyl Peroxide. Here at Garden of Wisdom, we are genuinely opposed to Benzoyl Peroxide. Our research shows that benzoyl peroxide, although it helps kill bacteria and fight acne, ages the skin tremendously over time. Eventually, Benzoyl Peroxide stops working long-term altogether. We have learned that Benzoyl Peroxide is unstable, causing free radicals, while stabilized oxygen has the ability to fight the free radicals our skin is subjected to.
We do not believe all oxygen products are created equal. For those fighting acne, we feel they are lacking healthy oxygen to fight the bacteria. Typically, if not always, acneic skin is acidic, so adding healthy oxygen (alkaline) will fight this condition without causing aging.
This product does NOT bleach the skin.
Sodium Chloride (Salt) is added to Water to increase electrical conductivity, facilitate the manufacturing process that separates the oxygen molecules from the H2O, and stabilizes the oxygen in the water. (this is a proprietary process from our supplier to achieve this) The end result is a highly stabilized oxygen that is far different than the original ingredients and very, very low in sodium and chloride.
Method of Application
This Super Charged Oxygen Rich 15% Gel can and should be applied twice per day after cleansing and before continuing your routine. This allows the oxygen to feed the skin and control the acne bacteria. Proceed once your skin has dried.
Apply a few drops of this serum on your clean finger tips, and smooth it across clean skin. Use during the water soluble phase of your skin routine (after you cleanse, tone, and exfoliate, but before you apply any oils or creams).
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life. Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please Keep Your Products Out of Humidity, Heat, Direct Light and in a Dark Cabinet When Possible
Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark
Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it to a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator. Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take the oil out, warm it up at room temperature, and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. Some oils, like coconut cream and jojoba oil, have a super long shelf life.
Refrigeration of The Following Ingredients is Not Necessary, But it Won't hurt
Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place. Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated. Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove what you need and keep the rest in the fridge. Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years. Herbs All herbs <i>(whole or ground)</i> should be kept in a dark, cool, and dry location. Herbal (liquid) Extracts are created using grain alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herb, root, trunk, leaf, and flower. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be stored in the refrigerator or a dark, dry place. Other Raw Ingredients - such as Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc., will all have different shelf lives.

Effective as a spot treatment. I may have overused it when I first got it (all over my face, twice a day), which might have been a bit irritating. But now I use it as a spot treatment if I feel any spots that might be headed toward a bit or blemish. And in the morning, those spots definitely feel dryer and less angry.

Fantastic Product for Healing Blemishes Fast!
This gel is truly wonderful for getting rid of blemishes super quickly. It can be a tad drying if over-used, but it has not caused redness or irritation. It works so much better than any of the numerous prescription and over-the-counter acne creams and gels I have tried over the years. I will gladly trade a touch of dryness for a day or two versus an eruption of pimples. When I just use a tiny bit, it stops the pimple in its tracks and has also faded post-acne marks very well. I am also grateful that it is a safer and more effective alternative to benzoyl peroxide and will not bleach my pillowcases or towels like benzoyl peroxide has in the past. I also trust it is safe for my skin in the long-term. This company is amazing, especially if you have sensitive and finnicky skin like me.

The only thing that’s worked in my 5 year struggle with Acne

i developed rosacea out of nowhere after never really having skin issues before. suddenly my skin was red, bumpy, dry, dehydrated and unbelievably reactive. i tried so many products that were marketed as natural, sensitive-skin friendly or rosacea-safe, and NOTHING worked. every new product seemed to give me a brand-new version of a reaction.
then i had a consultation with jennifer. garden of wisdom offers consultations for new customers, and i cannot recommend doing one enough. jennifer was incredible. she helped me put together a very simple routine using this serum, their soap free cleanser, aloe as a toner and evening primrose oil. she also talked to me about supporting my skin internally, which i really appreciated. it felt like she was looking at the bigger picture instead of just trying to sell me another topical product.
more than that, she was kind, supportive and genuinely gave me hope during a time when i was feeling incredibly discouraged about my skin.
and boy did she deliver.
i used the cleanser and oat enriched facial serum and woke up the NEXT MORNING with skin that felt smooth, calm and unreactive. i genuinely could not believe it.

It's really hard to find a fungal acne-safe body lotion! This lotion is light, and it's not instantly transformative, but over the past month or so I think it has helped the dry patches on my elbows and knees. I wish it was a tad richer, but I don't know if that's possible while also keeping it FA-safe. So I'll probably keep it in my routine!

Good for emerging blemishes
I like this stuff! My blemishes are usually just tiny irritated white heads or bumps with nothing in them. If I put this on at night, things are much calmer in the morning. It even seems to have a minimizing effect on the few deep painful cystic guys I get, so they end up fading away rather than coming to the surface full of rage. And so far I haven't had any irritation (and I have very sensitive skin). I put this on after my last oil stage, after things have dried down a bit. I feel like that works best since I use it as a spot treatment, and putting it on under other stuff seems like it would just spread it around.

This is the best one! My skin is sensitive to unusual things and the leucidal hyaluronic acid serums don't give me any issue. I prefer the honey to the regular because it helps my acne. I had to order the regular/pure HA serum last time and I definitely noticed breakouts lasting longer. Honey comb is the way to go!
