Introducing our latest innovation: a luxurious body oil infused with Bakuchiol, a natural alternative to Retinol. Bakuchiol is renowned for its gentle exfoliating properties. Our team has extensive experience with Bakuchiol, collaborating with Victoria Health several years ago to explore its remarkable benefits. This fast-absorbing, lightweight ingredient harmoniously blends with our new oil formulation, offering a nourishing experience that leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated and pampered. Even if you're typically hesitant about body oils, this product will transform your skincare routine, providing deep hydration and promoting a radiant complexion. Bakuchiol is a natural compound celebrated for its anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties and ability to improve skin tone. Bakuchiol is generally well tolerated and more photostable than retinol. It is not known to increase sun sensitivity the way traditional retinoids can, making it a popular option for sensitive skin. As always, daily sunscreen is recommended. Indulge in the exquisite formula we have put together just for you! Below are the primary advantages of each ingredient:
Sunflower Seed Oil: Rich in vitamin E and fatty acids, it moisturizes and protects the skin barrier.
Chardonnay Grapeseed Oil: Lightweight and high in antioxidants, it aids in skin repair and elasticity.
Apricot Kernel Oil: Nourishes and softens the skin, suitable for sensitive skin types.
Squalane Oil: Mimics the skin's natural oils, providing deep hydration without a greasy feel.
Prickly Pear Seed Oil: Contains essential fatty acids and vitamin E, promoting skin elasticity and brightness.
Sea Buckthorn (Seed and Berry) Oil: Packed with vitamins and omega fatty acids, they support skin regeneration and combat dryness.
Bakuchiol Oil: A natural alternative to retinol, it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and improves skin tone.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate Is an oil-soluble, stable vitamin C known for its antioxidant properties, which help prevent lipid peroxidation. Topical applications can reduce the harmful effects of UV exposure. Research indicates that it stimulates collagen synthesis, clarifies, and brightens the skin by inhibiting melanogenesis (the production of pigment), which promotes a more even skin tone. Unlike ascorbic acid, it does not exfoliate or irritate the skin. Product Benefits Moisturizing Lightweight Omega Fatty Acids Clarifying and brightening Nourishing Skin regeneration Improves skin tone
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life. Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please Keep Your Products Out of Humidity, Heat, Direct Light and in a Dark Cabinet When Possible
Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark
Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it to a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator. Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take the oil out, warm it up at room temperature, and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. Some oils, like coconut cream and jojoba oil, have a super long shelf life.
Refrigeration of The Following Ingredients is Not Necessary, But it Won't hurt
Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place. Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated. Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove what you need and keep the rest in the fridge. Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years. Herbs All herbs (whole or ground) should be kept in a dark, cool, and dry location. Herbal (liquid) Extracts are created using grain alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herb, root, trunk, leaf, and flower. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be stored in the refrigerator or a dark, dry place. Other Raw Ingredients - such as Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc., will all have different shelf lives.

Nice skin moisturizer, but sensitive to scent
I was excited to try the Bakuchiol oil after reading all the great benefits of it. Unfortunately, over time, I became sensitive to the scent- like it had become stronger over time, and I could not tolerate it. I will say that I am sensitive to smells, so it could be a me issue. That's the reason I knocked off 1 star.
Besides that, it made my skin feel really soft. I did not use it long enough to see benefits.
Now, I will say customer service was top notch with Jen and Markey. They answered any questions and concerns I had. I can really tell that they care deeply about their products and business.
Hi Shanique
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed how soft your skin felt, and we truly appreciate your kind words about our customer service.
We completely understand that scent can be a deciding factor. While we don't add any scent to this product, the unrefined oils naturally have their own aroma. We intentionally use these minimally processed oils because they retain more of their natural character, although we know that isn't the right fit for everyone.
For reference, the oils in this formula are:
• Sunflower Seed Oil
• Chardonnay Grapeseed Oil
• Apricot Kernel Oil
• Squalane
• Prickly Pear Seed Oil
• Sea Buckthorn Seed & Berry Oil
• Bakuchiol
• Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate
Thank you again for giving us a try. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope you'll find another Garden of Wisdom product that's a perfect match for you.
UPDATE: We’re so glad you’ve enjoyed it! One quick note for anyone reading: this is our concentrated 2% body formula. For facial use, we recommend our Bakuchiol 0.75% Botanic Facial Oil Booster, which was created specifically for the face.

Well…first off
Well…first off, I need to confess I did not pay attention and I have been using this on my face. Just a drop but it’s been really great! In the winter my skin is so dry and needs an oil and this is what I had so…I used it. No complaints, it did the job and my skin is really clear and hydrated. I will have to get the face version and use this for my body but I do really like it!
Colleen 😊
I love your 'confession'. It's honest, raw, and appreciated.
We are happy to know this helped to clear, condition, and retain hydration in your skin.
We look forward tohearing what you think about the facial oil.
Thank you,

I’m really seeing a difference!
Such a great body oil! I apply it all over after showering and I can actually see a difference in my skin after using it for a few months. I’m 61 years old and the wrinkles and creepiness had really started setting in. They are definitely improved after using this product. Also, I do an exfoliation scrub about once a week and I am noticing much less old skin coming off now. That means this oil is doing a great job of skin cell renewal with less need for doing a scrub to remove dead skin. Amazing!
Hi Margie!
This is so exciting to hear. You described this product perfectly as it takes time to see a difference and you
are using it faithfully to see the results.

Not oily!
I’m not a fan of oils and took a chance with this bc of the ingredients. Glad I did. It’s not oily. I use a pump for both arms and another pump for both legs. I use the residual on my hands for neck. When working outside soil and such doesn’t stick to my arms, one of the reasons I normally hate body oils. Too soon to see results other than soft skin.
Hi Jennifer (long time and greatly appreciated customer)
Thank you so much for taking a chance on our body oil, especially as someone who’s not usually a fan of oils! We're so glad to hear it didn’t feel greasy and that you’re already noticing softer skin.
It’s wonderful that it’s also helping to keep soil and debris from sticking to your skin (I wish I had this product back in my horse days) we completely understand how frustrating that can be, especially when working outside. It sounds like you’ve found a great routine with it, and using the extra on your neck is such a smart touch.
We hope you continue to see even more benefits with consistent use. Thanks again for your thoughtful review, it means a lot to us!

It's really hard to find a fungal acne-safe body lotion! This lotion is light, and it's not instantly transformative, but over the past month or so I think it has helped the dry patches on my elbows and knees. I wish it was a tad richer, but I don't know if that's possible while also keeping it FA-safe. So I'll probably keep it in my routine!
Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review, Caroline! -`♡´- We’re glad you’re beginning to see improvement in those stubborn dry areas. We also truly appreciate your feedback about wanting a little more richness while keeping the formula fungal acne-friendly. That balance can be tricky, but your input is incredibly helpful to us!

Absolute best thing for my white dry flyaway hair. 1/2 tsp MCT Oil heated with 1/4 tsp Cetyl Alcohol in a baby food jar in water in a leg wax warmer. When melted I add 1 tsp Distilled Water. I let cool in the warmer & apply to hair.
Hi Laura ♡♡♡
This is so interesting and clever! We love hearing how our customers put their ingredients to work! Knowing the Cetyl Alcohol has been the answer for smoothing and softening your dry, flyaway hair is inspiring. Keep up with the great ideas. Since your mixture contains water, we recommend making only a tiny amount at a time and using it fresh. Or adding a preservative if you're not going to use it right away. :)

this seems like a very good product, but may be wrong for my skin type. i have rosacea and eczema, and mostly oily skin. i was hoping to find a product that would improve my heavily congested nose and chin without making all the red patches on my cheeks and eye area worse. i tried the product as both a toner and a facial spray, but found it slowly dried out my cheeks and made them redder. so now am am just applying only to my nose and cheeks, and it seems to be helping now, in conjunction with the oat serum. the product has the consistency of a typical toner, and it is scentless. it does not sting or burn when sprayed on, even in the eye area. it feels neither drying nor hydrating, and does not leave you looking greasy.
Hi Donna ♡
Thank you for sharing your experience with our Wild Black Cherry Bark Hydrosol. I'm glad to hear it's helping when used selectively.
We appreciate your detailed feedback and hope it continues to support your skin needs.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance!
Thought: you could add about 2-3% glycerin to amp up the hydration.

Good for emerging blemishes
I like this stuff! My blemishes are usually just tiny irritated white heads or bumps with nothing in them. If I put this on at night, things are much calmer in the morning. It even seems to have a minimizing effect on the few deep painful cystic guys I get, so they end up fading away rather than coming to the surface full of rage. And so far I haven't had any irritation (and I have very sensitive skin). I put this on after my last oil stage, after things have dried down a bit. I feel like that works best since I use it as a spot treatment, and putting it on under other stuff seems like it would just spread it around.

This is the best one!
This is the best one! My skin is sensitive to unusual things and the leucidal hyaluronic acid serums don't give me any issue. I prefer the honey to the regular because it helps my acne. I had to order the regular/pure HA serum last time and I definitely noticed breakouts lasting longer. Honey comb is the way to go!
