Forum Feedback

I just tried this sample tonight and LOVE IT! I too am loving mint these days and this was just perfect!
This smells exactly like a peppermint candy (reminded me of Christmas!) and left my skin perfectly smooth!
I tried this and was amazed. Truly great facial scrub. I really liked the tingly/cooling sensation an my skin after I rinsed the scrub off.
In all honesty, I wasn't going to try this because even the oatmeal in the heather cleanser made my face bleed. But yesterday I was trying out a new zinc oxide sunscreen that made me look like Casper the Friendly Ghost and just wouldn't wash off, so in desperation I reached for my new marzipan minty scrub. Again, my first reaction was Too Scratchy! But boy, when I was finished my face was clean and just tingled with mintiness. So if I can figure out a way to get this sunscreen to work (maybe I just put too much on?) then I will have to pray you start stocking the minty scrub so I can get it off again at the end of the day.
I tried this last night and the scent is lovely, lightly minty and almondy (but without the over sweetness that sometimes accompanies almond scented products). I think for me this would be ideal as a body scrub. I did try it on my face. I barely rubbed it in at all and my skin tolerated it ok, and felt super moisturized afterwards, and only the slightest bit tingly from the mint. But, I think it is too granulated for me to use on my face (my Rosacea skin doesn't like scrubs). If your skin likes scrubs, this is a lovely one!
I tried the mint scrub last night and loved it. My face tingled pleasantly, it smells delicious, and my skin was soft and smooth after.
Loved this. With the graininess I'm sure I got rid of a lot of loose junk... It smelled FANTASTIC and my face was so soft afterward. It was a treat.:)
I tried my sample a couple of nights ago and it was amazing! I was a little surprised at the texture, but it worked really well once I added water. After I rinsed it off, my skin was really soft and smooth. And I loved the minty tingling it left behind. I think I like this better than any scrub I have used in the past (I haven't tried any of your other scrubs yet, but after this, I am definitely going to). :)
I tried this sample last night... It is wonderful, minty, leaves your face feeling very refreshed... LOVE it... I will buy this one!!!
This is amazing! I love mint and my skin loves mint. It's very scrubby, but in a gentle way which is exactly what I like. I used it before I got into the shower and left on once I got in for a bit. it seemed to "warm up" with a cool mint tingle as it sat on my face in the shower. It was very delightful and my skin felt very refreshed and clean. I think it would be wonderful to use on a morning when you're having difficulty waking up or an evening when you need some refreshing!! Markey, I love this!!
Love this new scrub! Leaves my skin refreshed and soft, with no tightness. The scrubbiness makes it wonderful for thorough "end of the day" cleansing and it smells wonderful. :)
I just used this last night and am in LOVE with it!!!!!!! I am not really a scrub girl and this has turned me into a scrub lover LOL! I will definitely be buying the full size of this.
I adore this!! I have been able to stretch my sample into 3 uses and my face loves nose loves this...and even my hands feel nice after scrubbing my face with it! I would love to see it offered!
So when i was using this a little bit got in my mouth and it even tastes good :P just had to add that.
I love the Marzipan Mint scrub! Please consider making more. I managed to make my sample last several uses, but now it is all gone. If this becomes a regular product, I will buy tubs of it because it smells delicious, feels sensational, and has the perfect degree of scrubbiness for my face.
Are we still considering this as a new finished product? Because I LOVE THIS!!! I just used mine again last night (I'm afraid I'm hoarding it...) and I cannot tell you how much I like this scrub. The graininess of the almonds works perfectly, even though I'm a sensitive skin girl. I really would like to have a large size of this. I will cry when my sample is gone! I keep trying not to use it, then just open and sniff it, then I break down and scoop a little out. Of course, I haven't used any of your other scrubs ...BUT how could they even COMPARE to this one I love so much!

Shelf Life and Storage Information for Products and Ingredients

Finished products generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend shelf life. Shelf life is 9 - 12 months

Sample sizes do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (except our vitamin C serums - use within 90 days).

Please try to keep out of high humidity or heat if possible! Store out of direct light and in dark cabinet if possible also!

Exfoliating Acid products will last 1 year.

The only thing we don't suggest refrigerating is the mandelic or salicylic acid serums as those can crystallize in the refrigerator and not go back to their normal state even if you warm them up.

Additional Items Requiring Refrigeration

Hydrosols - Take out 1/2 oz to 1 oz in a separate spray bottle from your original container and keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator!

Carrier Oils - Generally you can refrigerate ALL carrier oils, they will solidify in some cases. This is FINE all you have to do is take it out warm it up at room temp and it will be liquid again!
There are some oils that have a super long shelf life like coconut oil for instance! That does not need to be refrigerated, but it cannot hurt it either!

Essential Oils - Essential oils are best stored in a cool dark place.

Co2 Oils - These should always be refrigerated.

Butters - We suggest refrigerating our skincare butters. You can take out what you need and keep the rest in the fridge.

Essential oils - These can be refrigerated to increase their shelf life!

Clays - Keep in a dry, dark place (shelf life is at least 2 years)

Herbs - (whole or ground) These should last a good year at least - Keep in a dark, cool and dry location.

Herbal Extracts - [powder] Keep these also in a dark, DRY place. You can keep in the fridge, but make sure the seal is on very tight so you don't get moisture in. [1 year at least].

Herbal Extracts - [liquid] These can be kept in the refrigerator (or a dark DRY place] [3 years at least]

Other Various Raw Ingredients - i.e. Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Iat Beta Glucan etc will all have a different shelf life (we are working on adding this to the ingredient pages.
