Neurophroline is a first-generation active skincare ingredient that can block the production of cortisol. Cortisol is the primary stress hormone that destroys collagen! This can lead to wrinkles, dark circles, and the formation of fine lines. This formula fights external skin stressors such as the hormone Cortisol, leaving your skin with a youthful, dewy glow. Garden of Wisdom's formula also contains oat beta-glucan, Themostressine, Super Oxide Dismutase (S.O.D.), and other unique and CLEAN ingredients.
Technical Terms Neurophroline™ is an extract of Wild Indigo (Tephrosia purpurea). A specific extraction from the seeds of this plant has been performed to obtain a condensate enriched in particular sugars, including stachyose and ciceritol. This exclusive extract has demonstrated its unique biological capabilities to break down Cortisol production by skin cells, activate the release of a natural calming neuropeptide acting on mood, and visibly improve skin tone within two weeks.
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life.
Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please keep your products out of humidity, heat, direct light and in a dark cabinet when possible:Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark:Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it into a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator.
Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally, you can refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take it out, warm it up at room temperature and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. There are some oils with a super long shelf life, like Coconut Cream and Jojoba Oil.
Refrigeration is not necessary, but it surely won't hurt:Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place.
Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated.
Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove
what you need and keep the rest in the fridge.
Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years.
Herbs - all herbs (whole or ground) should be kept in a dark, cool and dry location.
Herbal (liquid) Extracts - these are created using alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herbs - root, trunk, leaves, and flowers. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be kept in the refrigerator or a dark place.
Other Raw Ingredients - i.e., Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc.
will all have a different shelf life.
Liposomes (phospholipids) penetration enhancer and extremely hydrating
Leucidal SF (Lactobacillis Ferment) gentle preservative without parabens or formaldehyde releasers
Neurophroline this exclusive extract has demonstrated its unique biological capabilities to break down the cortisol production by skin cells, activate the release of a natural calming neuropeptide acting to reduce redness, and enhance the overall appearance of the skin.
Thermostressine® (tetrapeptide)this tetrapeptide increases the skin's tolerance to jet-lag and other daily lifestyle stresses. The proteotoxic stress is well controlled and damage prevented.
Oat Beta Glucans are being studied for their potential immunomodulatory effects, anti-tumor properties, and stimulation of collagen deposition. Oat Beta Glucans have amazing healing properties.
Hyaluronic Acid (high molecular weight)Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide (large sugar molecule) that occurs in various tissues (skin, synovial fluids of joints, connective tissues).
Hyaluronic Acid (super low molecular weight)hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) is a natural polysaccharide (sugar) that occurs in body tissues including the skin providing hydration, stability, lubrication. This super low-molecular-weight form is made by enzymatically cleaving high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid into small fragments.
Dehydroxanthan Gumis obtained from fermented polysaccharides. This ia natural thickener.
AllTrans ResveratrolAllTrans-resveratrol is a naturally occurring compound in certain plants, particularly grapes and red wine. It has been of interest in skincare and cosmetics due to its potential antioxidant and anti-aging properties. When applied topically to the skin, trans-resveratrol can exhibit several beneficial properties like antioxidant protection, anti-inflammatory, skin brightening, UV protection, collagen production and really keeps the skin hydrated.
Apple Polyphenols are natural compounds found in apples, particularly in the skin and seeds of the fruit. They are a type of phytochemical, which means they are plant derived. Apple polyphenols, when used in topical applications, offer antioxidants, UV Protection, anti-inflammatory effects, they improve skin hydration while boosting collagen production. Yes, they are this good.
Sclerotium Gum is a naturally derived, gel-like polysaccharide (sugar-based) thickener.
Super Oxide Dismutase (S.O.D.) the highly purified superoxide dismutase made from Saccharomyces cerevisiae for skin care products. Offering anti-aging and skin-whitening properties while providing potent antioxidant effects inhibiting free radical formation.
