Pineapple & Red Wine Exfoliating Gel
Garden of Wisdom's Pineapple and Wine Exfoliating Gel combines these two powerful ingredients in a gentle and effective formula. This gel is designed to be applied onto the skin, where it works to loosen and remove dead skin cells, revealing brighter, smoother, and more radiant skin. The formula also includes other skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera to help hydrate and soothe the skin. Pineapple is a great natural exfoliant due to its enzyme content, particularly bromelain. This enzyme helps break down dead skin cells and promote cell turnover, making the skin look brighter and smoother. Pineapple is also rich in vitamins A and C, both of which are essential for maintaining healthy skin. Vitamin A helps to regulate oil production and prevent the formation of acne, while vitamin C helps to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Method of ApplicationAfter cleansing, spread a layer of this product onto your skin. Let this "mask" dry for about 15 minutes, and then rinse with warm water until there is no longer any of the gel remaining on your skin. Continue with your routine as normal. In total, one should only exfoliate 1-2 days a week total, or every fourth day.
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life.
Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please keep your products out of humidity, heat, direct light and in a dark cabinet when possible:Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark:Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it into a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator.
Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally, you can refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take it out, warm it up at room temperature and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. There are some oils with a super long shelf life, like Coconut Cream and Jojoba Oil.
Refrigeration is not necessary, but it surely won't hurt:Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place.
Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated.
Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove
what you need and keep the rest in the fridge.
Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years.
Herbs - all herbs (whole or ground) should be kept in a dark, cool and dry location.
Herbal (liquid) Extracts - these are created using alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herbs - root, trunk, leaves, and flowers. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be kept in the refrigerator or a dark place.
Other Raw Ingredients - i.e., Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc.
will all have a different shelf life.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review!
This is a great exfoliator for sensitive skin!
I found this to be a mild, non-irritating exfoliant for when my skin needs a little extra turnover help to brighten my face. It's such a special treat to put it on. My skin definitely finds it yummy! I can't do chemical peels as much anymore because I am in the habit of retinol use, so this fruit enzyme peel is perfect and gentle!
So happy to hear you are happy with this product! Thank you :)
The smell of this exfoliating gel will quickly become one of your favorites. I look forward to the days I use this product as part of my skin care regimen.
Not only does it smell fantastic but it works, and works well.!! You can feel your skin getting tighter and becoming so clean!
Thank you for taking the time to share with us your results with this product!!
I adore this product because it delivers results every time in just a few minutes. I use it for about 3 minutes once a week to every week and half and it always leaves my skin looking "glowy" and renewed. I was told that acid exfoliators are not my friend due to having sensitive skin. This exfoliating gel scratches that itch to want to exfoliate even though you know you shouldn't... you know the one I'm talking about! And I am never left feeling like I over did it. I have had my 2.5oz jar for over a year, and it still works as well as it did the first time.
Thank you! We're happy you like this!
