Tazman Berry Pepper is an extract from Tasmanian Pepper, a black-ish purple berry that grows in the mountains of Australia. It is a very enduring species that tolerates cold winds and thrives on rocks and in harsh elements. It is an anti-inflammatory ingredient that soothes the skin and instantly reduces skin redness induced by UV radiation. It also has anti-allergenic properties which are really helpful, especially in this spring weather where allergies are are their highest.
Tazman Berry Pepper contains Polygodial, a powerful active anti-inflammatory ingredient that reduces vasodilation and oedema to soothe the skin. It also has anti-allergenic and antimicrobial properties. This berry also contains Anthocyanins, which make it have a high antioxidant level (3x greater than blueberries with TEAC) to protect against free radicals. Anthocyanins are free radical scavengers that protect cells from oxidative damages. It also contains rutin, an anti-inflammatory known to strengthen capillaries. It can also have a great impact on the appearance of dark circles. In vivo study results show that Tazman Pepper instantly reduces skin redness induced by UV radiation (after single application of a cream containing 2% Tazman Pepper) [see studies below]

The best serum ever! Tazman Berry. I'll order a double size after the 10th of June. Nothing, ever has taken the craziness out of my skin so quickly and effectively. I've been using your wonderful serums for YEARS.....and I usually add niacinamide and caffeine, as a matter of course, because those substances are so beneficial for many skin issues. ~ Linda F
I have to say I have only been using this for a few days but I am in love! I had a horrible breakout (I think it's my makeup) and received this in my last order so i gave it a try and f it calmed me right down! I will definitely be making this a staple in my routine. Getting fully hydrated is one of the moist challenging parts of my routine but this soothes my skin and doesn't cause irritation which almost everything does so it's a great find! Please make this available i will continue to use it! I love the fennel and aloe I am unfamiliar with Tazman Pepper but started doing some digging and it sounds great! I am so happy with the effects of this serum and will continue to use it everyday! ~ Elita from forum
I received this as well and after 3 days of use Ive decided its a keeper. My always slightly red/pinkish face after washing has been calmed by this within minutes. I did some research myself on the Tazman Pepper as I had never heard of it. I thought Pepper!! I dont know that I want to put that on my face but it is a very calming, soothing ingredient. I know it just came out but Im going to be needing more of this soon!!! ~ ruddygirl from forum
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that the Tazman Pepper Serum sample you sent with my last order is wonderful! I know it says that it's mainly for redness, but it has definitely helped clear up my cystic acne. It really helps to stop these giant pimples before they fully rise, and takes enough of the redness away that I'm able to cover them fairly well with just my mineral powder foundation. I haven't found any other product that has had such great results! I've tried looking it up on your site, but tazman pepper doesn't come up when I search. I just thought I'd drop a note to let you know how wonderful this stuff is seen as I can't leave any feedback for it on your site. ~ Angela F.
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Products and Ingredients
Finished products generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend shelf life. Shelf life is 9 - 12 months
Sample sizes do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (except our vitamin C serums - use within 90 days).
Please try to keep out of high humidity or heat if possible! Store out of direct light and in dark cabinet if possible also!
Exfoliating Acid products will last 1 year.
The only thing we don't suggest refrigerating is the mandelic or salicylic acid serums as those can crystallize in the refrigerator and not go back to their normal state even if you warm them up.
Additional Items Requiring Refrigeration
Hydrosols - Take out 1/2 oz to 1 oz in a separate spray bottle from your original container and keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator!
Carrier Oils - Generally you can refrigerate ALL carrier oils, they will solidify in some cases. This is FINE all you have to do is take it out warm it up at room temp and it will be liquid again!
There are some oils that have a super long shelf life like coconut oil for instance! That does not need to be refrigerated, but it cannot hurt it either!
Essential Oils - Essential oils are best stored in a cool dark place.
Co2 Oils - These should always be refrigerated.
Butters - We suggest refrigerating our skincare butters. You can take out what you need and keep the rest in the fridge.
Essential oils - These can be refrigerated to increase their shelf life!
Clays - Keep in a dry, dark place (shelf life is at least 2 years)
Herbs - (whole or ground) These should last a good year at least - Keep in a dark, cool and dry location.
Herbal Extracts - [powder] Keep these also in a dark, DRY place. You can keep in the fridge, but make sure the seal is on very tight so you don't get moisture in. [1 year at least].
