Customer Spotlight: Margaret’s Hair Care Review 💚

We received this beautiful note from Margaret, a longtime Garden of Wisdom customer, and we just had to share it.

After years of using and loving our skincare, Margaret recently decided to try our hair care products - and her experience made our whole day. If you have dry, wavy, frizz-prone hair, this one may especially speak to you.

In Margaret’s words:

“I have been a Garden of Wisdom customer for approximately 8 years and have mainly used their skincare. Within the last year, I have started using their hair follicle stimulator serum and the bakuchiol body oil. But in all of these years, I have never tried the hair care. I am not sure why, because I have never tried a product I haven't loved and am more than obsessed with the Beautiful Eye Serum, the cellular eye complex, their prickly pear seed oil and the Wickedly Rich McDreamy Cream, to name a few.

I have struggled with my hair for years. I have combo wavy hair, moderately wavy on the top layers, extremely wavy on the underneath layers. Regardless of the hair products I use, my hair is always dry. It can also get extremely frizzy and requires a lot of products post shampoo and conditioner to tame the frizz.

I have been using more natural products for the last 12 years and have never found shampoo, conditioner and hair products that really do a good job. I have tried all of the "natural" brands at all price points. My hair was still dry. I would religiously use a leave in conditioner, a prep spray and a smoothing lotion targeted at combating frizz all after shampooing and conditioning. My hair was still dry. The frizz could be managed but depended also on the weather; humidity and rain would still cause my hair to frizz even with all of the leave in products.

I finally thought to try the products from Garden of Wisdom. About one month ago, I purchased the Lockes of Lovely Shampoo, the Majik Lockes Blueberry Hair serum, Pea and Pearl Protein Hair Conditioner, the Rockin Moroccan Goddess Hair Oil, and the Conditioning Creme Cleanser (which can be used like a traditional conditioner that you rinse out in the shower).

To give these products a true test, I have used nothing but these Garden of Wisdom products on my hair for this entire month. Firstly, my hair has never been so soft, to the touch as well as visually. Remarkable. I have little to no frizz since using these products. And the weather has put them to the test with 96 degree days, high humidity and massive thunderstorms in the evenings. Even when I air dry my hair, it is still frizz free, soft and looks glossy and pretty (which was never the case with my old hair products).

I would encourage you to try these hair products. They are magic. My only regret is that I waited this long to include them in my routine.
