Spotlight on Vegan Skin Care

We get questions pretty regularly on which products are vegan or which are not vegan. This inspired us to write a blog post about this so you can be informed with your choices!
The majority of our skin care line is vegan as we only have a handful of ingredients that are not vegan. There is a very small list of ingredients that are either vegetarian or not considered vegan.
Non Vegan or Vegetarian Ingredients
Hydrolyzed Keratin (sheep wool)
Keratin Amino Acids (sheep wool)
Cholesterol (sheeps wool)
Hydrolyzed Silk (from silk worms)
N-Acetyl D Glucosamine (marine - Shellfish)
Caviar Extract (marine)
Collagen (marine)
Elastin (marine)
Snail Ferment (NOT harmed in the process!)
Manuka Honey (bee hive where the bees have manuka trees around as their food source)
Honey (bee hive)
Honeyquat (derived from honey)
Beeswax (bee hive)
Honey Powder (from Honey)
Yogurt Powder (from yogurt/milk)
Colostrum (cows milk)
Goats Milk (from milking of goats)
Emu oil (rendered from emu fat - no part of the Emu is wasted! Everything is used!)
Rooster based Hyaluronic Acid (HA)
- The Rooster based HA is clearly listed on the website. All the rest of our Hyaluronic Acid Serums, and products with Hyaluronic Acid are vegan - Source: Biotechnology (bacterial fermentation)

Any of our products can be made custom without these ingredients for a custom fee! Contact us to find out more!

For those of you that ever avoided certain products with Ceramides, CoQ10 or L-Carnosine, our sources of these are now vegan!

Ceramide Blend/Complex is plant/fermentation based
CoQ10 is plant/fermentation based
L-Carnosine is synthetic

If you have any questions as to what is vegan/vegetarian or not just drop us an email! We're here to help!
