Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life. Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please Keep Your Products Out of Humidity, Heat, Direct Light and in a Dark Cabinet When Possible
Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark
Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it to a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator. Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take the oil out, warm it up at room temperature, and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. Some oils, like coconut cream and jojoba oil, have a super long shelf life.
Refrigeration of The Following Ingredients is Not Necessary, But it Won't hurt
Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place. Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated. Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove what you need and keep the rest in the fridge. Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years. Herbs All herbs <i>(whole or ground)</i> should be kept in a dark, cool, and dry location. Herbal (liquid) Extracts are created using grain alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herb, root, trunk, leaf, and flower. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be stored in the refrigerator or a dark, dry place. Other Raw Ingredients - such as Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc., will all have different shelf lives.
I love this serum. It has helped my skin whenever it got irritated. I tried “Oh No! What did I do to my skin?” serum and I want to say I liked the consistency of that one more, but for those looking for a lighter serum, “Repair and Recovery” would be perfect.

miracle product for irritated skin
This serum has become my favorite product in a long time! My skin is extremely sensitive and prone to breakouts which means Im always looking for products that will reduce redness and inflammation. Well this serum is incredible for just that! I will be ordering the largest size asap.

Very soothing and great for my sensitive, and at times dehydrated, rosacea skin. I use it everyday mixed with Ramosu snail filtrate (after cleanser and P50W). Mix them in my palm and apply to face/neck/chest then spray with a hydrosol and let absorb for 5 minutes. Have fallen asleep a few times at this point in my skincare routine - and not applied serums and moisturizer like usual - and have been surprised at how well my skin was in the morning. My only complaints are the price and the container. It is very expensive and I count the drops carefully to make sure i don't use more than I need . The container is prone to leaking (which makes it more expensive if you lose product) and you have to concentrate when pressure is needed to release drops, because just a tad too much results in a stream.

Soothing Serum
This stuff has made a huge difference in the redness and irritation on my face. I did have a small adjustment period with this but I believe that may be because I started it at the same time as other products while I was trying to move away from soap based cleansers. Once my face adjusted to everything, I realized how much this serum was helping my face. I had to stop everything temporarily while dealing with an unrelated eye issue and man did I miss it. My face feels so good after using this and it really does reduce redness due to sensitive skin from health issues. I usually apply this after spraying with the Calm and Hydrate mist.

This is another favorite! Didn't think product was doing much until my husband mentioned that my face looked smoother and more even. He also has started using it now and has gotten many compliments. Doesn't burn or sting like ascorbic acid. I use 3-4 times a week at night only and love that it contains squalane because it gives me a little extra moisture.

Upon doing the cottonball test this item did not clean my face properly for me . I only use jojoba oil and concealer in a few places. I do believe it has quality ingredients, I have mixed it w the Skin Friendly Cucumber cleanser as to make that cleanser more gentle for MY high maintenance skin.

This serum has really reduced my redness! It's especially helpful any time my skin is freaking out - it seems to reduce the time it takes for breakouts to heal. The hydration and consistency are exactly what I needed as an extra step between my hydrating toner and moisturizer. This serum saved my skin!
I have developed rosacea in the last couple of years and I’ve struggled to find any products that truly helped heal my skin. My skin was dry, irritated, and felt like sandpaper. It seemed like nothing would absorb or make my skin feel hydrated. I’ve seen a dermatologist and have been prescribed multiple creams that have made my skin feel worse and I could never stick with them. I’ve used GoW products on and off for years but finally got fed up with the prescription route and decided to find a natural routine and stick with it. I’ve been using this serum twice a day with an oil blend as moisturizer and also incorporated a hypochlorous acid spray. The rosacea serum has been the thing that has saved my skin. I only realized how effective it was when I couldn’t find it for a while—during that time, my skin really struggled.
