Note: Our Essential Oils come packaged in a Glass Bottle. We encourage you to choose Priority Mail. First Class, packages are shipped in a bubble envelope, unsafe for any Glass Bottle. We ship our essential oils in GLASS with Polyseal caps that DO NOT contain droppers of any type. When rubber attached to the glass dropper marries with the essential oil, it is a torrid affair. The essential oil will dissolve the rubber!

Please do not store your essential oils in dropper bottles.

Essential Oils Suggested Use Rate: We suggest thoroughly researching before use. We do not list essential oil percentages as a rule, because each oil is individual, and we really want to encourage you do your own research. We can send you an email with book resources.

For Formulation - Up to 1% (start at .05%) for the face and neck and up to 2% for the body. (That said - again, each oil is individual and must be researched)

We do not suggest consuming essential oils internally.. this has become widespread among some essential oil companies.
Because of it, the FDA is coming down on them, asking them to stop. People have landed in the emergency room over this kind of use.
Essential oils are so volatile that if taken internally (on too regular of a basis) and even in some cases immediate reaction.. they can act as a solvent on your insides. They can deteriorate the organs in your digestive system. Those of us in the aromatherapy community are appalled at using the essential oils in this way.

Wonderful product

This is another favorite! Didn't think product was doing much until my husband mentioned that my face looked smoother and more even. He also has started using it now and has gotten many compliments. Doesn't burn or sting like ascorbic acid. I use 3-4 times a week at night only and love that it contains squalane because it gives me a little extra moisture.

not sure if this is the cleanser for me

Upon doing the cottonball test this item did not clean my face properly for me . I only use jojoba oil and concealer in a few places. I do believe it has quality ingredients, I have mixed it w the Skin Friendly Cucumber cleanser as to make that cleanser more gentle for MY high maintenance skin.

We appreciate your feedback and would like to suggest trying our Skin Friendly Cucumber cleanser, which you have already mixed with our Soothing Cleansing Gel. It may be a better fit for your high maintenance skin. We also recommend using a gentle exfoliator occasionally to
help ensure a deep clean.

Extra Protection

Even before I moved to natural products, I had difficulty with deodorants. I sweat a good bit. I would rotate between a couple of deodorants as that seemed to help ensure they kept working. I do like the natural deodorant sticks with baking soda. I also like the way it feels as a barrier on my skin. However, before or by the end of the work day, they stopped doing their job. So, I decided to use the unscented version of this GOW along with the stick deodorant. Put this on first, let it dry and then apply the stick. This has made such a difference!!!! It really keeps odors in check! I’m sensitive to scents, but citrus is usually not a problem, so I’ll try that next time.n

Still to early to see results

Still to early in seeing if it is working . After one month and one bottle I can't see any visible signs of change in skin tone .

Gives my skin radiance while leaving a satin finish.

This rice bran oil is light and silky. No odor. It absorbs and leaves only a satin finish behind. I don’t need foundation over it! I have oily yet dehydrated skin, and rice bran oil is ideal for my skin type. It decreases oil production while leaving radiant, moisturized skin. Perfect for humid summer use, and use over moistened hyaluronic acid serum. Have used this for 6 years and my family has noticed measurable changes in my skin’s clarity and texture. (The BHA tonic and customized hyaluronic acid serum also have played a role.)
Being reactive to virtually everything, I am grateful for Garden of Wisdom’s pure products.
Having MCAS, this is my only source of “safe” skincare. Markey ensures no cross contamination in any product, and no reactants with her custom-made products. GOW carefully formulates customized products for those in need, like me! MCAS/MCS friendly!
