Vegetable glycerin and xanthan gum contribute to a smooth, hydrating texture, ensuring your hair feels soft and manageable after every wash. A powerhouse of botanical extracts and oils, including broccoli sprout infusion, brassica (broccoli) seed oil, black castor oil, and baobab powder extract, deeply nourishes the scalp and strands, enhancing shine, strength, and elasticity. Aloe vera gel, Argan oil, and marshmallow infusion work in harmony to deliver intense hydration and soothing care, leaving hair feeling silky, smooth, and revitalized. To fortify and protect, pro-vitamin B5, keratin amino acids, silk (hydrolyzed), and L-arginine help restore hair’s natural resilience, reducing breakage and improving texture over time. Rhodiola extract and allantoin provide additional soothing and conditioning properties, making this shampoo ideal for sensitive scalps. Method of Application This should be used as any shampoo would be applied. Let sit on the hair for several minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water. I know (duh, Markey). :-) Our testers here did not need to use a conditioner afterward. We want your feedback!
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life. Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please Keep Your Products Out of Humidity, Heat, Direct Light and in a Dark Cabinet When Possible
Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark
Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it to a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator. Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take the oil out, warm it up at room temperature, and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. Some oils, like coconut cream and jojoba oil, have a super long shelf life.
Refrigeration of The Following Ingredients is Not Necessary, But it Won't hurt
Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place. Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated. Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove what you need and keep the rest in the fridge. Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years. Herbs All herbs <i>(whole or ground)</i> should be kept in a dark, cool, and dry location. Herbal (liquid) Extracts are created using grain alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herb, root, trunk, leaf, and flower. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be stored in the refrigerator or a dark, dry place. Other Raw Ingredients - such as Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc., will all have different shelf lives.

Love this shampoo! I have an oily scalp but dry hair, and somehow this formula balances both. My hair is much softer (less breakage), and it doesn't need washing as often. It's remarkable that this works without conditioner.

I love this shampoo. It makes my hair soft yet full. Like others have said, I don't usually use conditioner with this shampoo as it feels like a shampoo and conditioner all in one. I just lather up and leave it in for a few minutes. I also like that it is unscented.

Great shampoo
I have very curly hair. I have also lost a lot of weight recently. My hair has been limp and thin feeling which is not my norm. This shampoo has helped my dry scalp and limp hair. My curls have more definition and my scalp doesn't feel dry and sore. My only wish is for a matching conditioner or deep conditioning treatment to go with it. I still have to use conditioner, but that didn't come as a shock to me.

All the things skin is supposed to do, (like holding in hydration and moisture, shedding naturally, and remaining intact to provide a barrier against the elements) my skin doesn't. What it does do, is react to everything (including my own sweat) as an enemy, and block and inflame random pores as revenge upon me for trying to moisturize so the itching doesn't drive me to madness.
This lotion has been genuinely miraculous. At best, others help one problem but cause another. This one interrupts the cycle, and has actually made my skin healthier. To echo another review, please never stop making this.

Winter Skin MUST HAVE
I love the other GOW hydrating mists but has not tried this one yet. My skin is on the struggle bus this Fall. I've never not loved Garden of Wisdom products 100%, and this is no exception... I alternate the C3 Elixir with other GoW products (the C3 does great on off-days that I don't use peptides), and it's been a great addition to my skin's arsenal. Some products can be drying or irritating to my skin but this isn't, at all!
