Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life. Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please Keep Your Products Out of Humidity, Heat, Direct Light and in a Dark Cabinet When Possible
Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark
Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it to a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator. Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take the oil out, warm it up at room temperature, and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. Some oils, like coconut cream and jojoba oil, have a super long shelf life.
Refrigeration of The Following Ingredients is Not Necessary, But it Won't hurt
Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place. Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated. Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove what you need and keep the rest in the fridge. Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years. Herbs All herbs <i>(whole or ground)</i> should be kept in a dark, cool, and dry location. Herbal (liquid) Extracts are created using grain alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herb, root, trunk, leaf, and flower. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be stored in the refrigerator or a dark, dry place. Other Raw Ingredients - such as Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc., will all have different shelf lives.
I have just recently started using this product, yet I can't get over how wonderful it makes my skin feel!! Already, deep lines aren't as deep. My skin feels firmer, yet not in a tight way. It feels plump and very hydrated. I will be back for more. :)

I have tried nearly every eye product out there for my morning puffy, dark, aging eyes. This is the only product that 1) clears the dark circles, 2) removes all puffiness, 3) removed all fine lines, 4) is absorbed very quickly, 5) doesn't irritate my eyes, 6) doesn't irritate my skin, nor make it too dry, 7) and does not leave a film. I've been using it for over 6 years now. The only complaint I would have, is that the cap gets a tad gross over time if you don't clean it off. Highly Recommend!

This miracle oil works wonders with my thin, curly hair. Normal Moroccan Oil Treatment weighs my hair down, leaving it looking flat and blah. This Rockin Moroccan Goddess Hair Oil helps my curls to be less frizzy, full of body, shiny and happy. I mix a few drops of this oil with my curl cream and curl gel and apply all at once. This is the first copper serum I have ever tried, and loving it already. Just purchased my 2nd bottle. I use this serum along with their Rose Peptide and Tepezcohuite serums. So I had never heard of Tepezcohuite until I saw an article about Salma Hayek. It claims her beauty and lack of aging is due to this particular ingredient, which of course sparked my interest in researching a little more about it. (I have mentioned in other reviews that because I live in the same town as Garden of Wisdom, I have the absolute pleasure of picking up my orders in person).
I love talking with Jen and Markie, they are extremely knowledgeable and always take the time to answers questions or explain things in detail.
I just happened to ask them about tepezcohuite, and it turned out that they have it! I’ve been using it a short time, but I love it! It’s evening out my skin tone in a “glowy” kind of way, smoothing the texture and has completely cleared up my adult acne, which is a huge plus for me!!
It has a silky, satin like feel- It’s not sticky or tacky, and absorbs perfectly! I’m curious to see what the long term results give, but it’s a keeper in my book!!
