Method of Application
Use during your conditioning phase in your routine. Apply small amount(s) until your skin feels silky smooth
Epithelialization occurs within 24 hours after an injury and is characterized by the detachment, migration, proliferation, and differentiation of cells at the base of the epidermis along the wound. Another way to put it is that after an injury mitosis increases, therefore cell production increases and those newly formed cells migrate to any exposed dermis and provide a temporary protection. Epithelialization is the second step in wound healing, the first step is inflammation, such as redness and heat, followed by epithelialization, then collagen synthesis, contraction, and remodeling.
Keratinization is a process by which epithelial cells lose their moisture and are replaced by horny tissue
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life.
Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please keep your products out of humidity, heat, direct light and in a dark cabinet when possible:Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark:Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it into a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator.
Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally, you can refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take it out, warm it up at room temperature and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. There are some oils with a super long shelf life, like Coconut Cream and Jojoba Oil.
Refrigeration is not necessary, but it surely won't hurt:Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place.
Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated.
Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove
what you need and keep the rest in the fridge.
Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years.
Herbs - all herbs (whole or ground) should be kept in a dark, cool and dry location.
Herbal (liquid) Extracts - these are created using alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herbs - root, trunk, leaves, and flowers. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be kept in the refrigerator or a dark place.
Other Raw Ingredients - i.e., Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc.
will all have a different shelf life.

I think this may be my new face cream - I love it!
Barbara, I always get this goofy grin on my face when I see your name.
You are just so pretty and such an inspiration to us all.
Also, thank you for the lovely review. We are very happy you tried this
cream. Try mixing with a bit of the serum and a touch of HA Serum for
some superb hydration.

I have used and liked the GOW progeline peptide repair serum so I decided to thr the progeline peptide wrinkle repair cream. While I like it, I wasn't expecting it to have a grit to it.
Kristine, were you able to contact us about this?
Sometimes working with products and keeping them as close to nature as possible
can cause some issues. We do our very best but once in awhile we do miss something.
Hopefully, you can use on your feet, elbows, etc.?
Thank you for your review,
Markey
I love the texture and plumpness of my face since using this cream. I'm over 60, I think it takes a few years off...excellent product!!!
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we appreciate it!
I discovered this cream a few years ago and I still use it as my primary moisturizer. I'm 52 and have some sun-damage on my face and STILL am prone to acne. I had really dehydrated skin before I found GOW and got the help I needed to find healing and nourishing products. This cream is one of the few that doesn't clog my pores. Yet, it feels really moisturizing and soaks in really well. I saw a change in my face within a month of using it, smoother skin, more even complexion, fewer wrinkles around eyes and mouth. This is my favorite GOW product. My second favorite is the Tumeric Mask which is amazing for evening out skin tone and helping with that sun damage. If you are getting older and feel like your skin needs moisture but don't want acne, try this cream!!
Thank you so much for this review! We're so glad you are loving it :)
Please reach out with any questions! Call or email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
