Combining the benefits of Ceramides and Liposomes, this formula hydrates and replenishes your skin deeply. Ceramides are vital for skin health, comprising half of the lipids in the extracellular "cement" of the outermost skin layer (stratum corneum). Their decline with age leads to increased moisture loss, resulting in dryness, roughness, and itchiness. Moreover, reduced ceramide levels contribute significantly to the formation of wrinkles. Read more about Ceramides on our Blog! *Due to this product using our Ceramides created via plants and fermentation - it can continue to ferment, which lends itself to a fermentation scent.
Shelf Life and Storage Information for Our Products and Ingredients
Finished Products - generally don't need to be refrigerated as they are preserved, but you can refrigerate them to extend their shelf life. The shelf life for most products is 9-12 months. Vitamin C Serum(s) and VitaResurface products should continually be refrigerated to extend their shelf life. Sample Sizes - do have a shorter shelf life (generally 3-6 months), and items in jars can dry up quicker than this if the lid is not tightened well enough (Vitamin C Serums - use within 90 days).
Please Keep Your Products Out of Humidity, Heat, Direct Light and in a Dark Cabinet When Possible
Exfoliating Acid - products have a shelf life of 9-12 months. The only things we don't suggest refrigerating are the Mandelic Acid Serums or Salicylic Acid Serums, as they can crystallize in the refrigerator. If this happens, you can set the product into a hot water bath to see if the crystals will dissolve.
Additional Items That Require Refrigeration and/or Kept in the Dark
Hydrosols and Distillates - remove 1 ounce of hydrosol and add it to a separate, sterilized spray bottle and spritzer. Keep the larger bottle in the refrigerator. Carrier and Exotic Oils - generally refrigerate all carrier oils, although some very rich oils will solidify. This is fine. All you have to do is take the oil out, warm it up at room temperature, and it should liquefy. If not, set the bottle in a hot water bath and occasionally shake the bottle, which will hopefully turn into a liquid. Some oils, like coconut cream and jojoba oil, have a super long shelf life.
Refrigeration of The Following Ingredients is Not Necessary, But it Won't hurt
Essential Oils - essential oils are best stored in a cool, dark place. Co2 Extracts - these should continually be refrigerated. Butters - we suggest refrigerating our "skincare" butters. You can remove what you need and keep the rest in the fridge. Clays - keep in a dry, dark place. Shelf life is at least 2 years. Herbs All herbs (whole or ground) should be kept in a dark, cool, and dry location. Herbal (liquid) Extracts are created using grain alcohol. The alcohol pulls the constituents (properties) from each herb, root, trunk, leaf, and flower. They have a shelf life of 3-5 years. They can be stored in the refrigerator or a dark, dry place. Other Raw Ingredients - such as Sodium PCA, Honeyquat, Oat Beta Glucan, etc., will all have different shelf lives.
Spring Water hydrating
Ceramide Complex - with aging, skin loses its youthful moisture, suppleness, and smoothness, thanks to the loss of essential ceramide molecules. Skin ceramides make up 50% of the lipids in the extracellular "cement" that binds together protective cells in the outermost skin layer, the stratum corneum. Loss of skin ceramides renders aging skin permeable to moisture, leaving skin dry, rough, and itchy. Ceramide loss is also a major contributor to wrinkles.
Liposomes (Soy Based) - penetration enhancer, hydrates
Prickly Pear Oil - conditioning, emollient, anti-aging
Xanthan Gum - natural thickener
Cosmocil CQ(Polyaminopropyl Biguanide- preservative that does not contain parabens or formaldehyde
Hi Jennifer!

Light and not the least bit greasy
Have been on the hunt for a light, non greasy moisturizer for my highly reactive skin. While I can use some oils in the colder months and when my skin isn't actively hating me, I really needed something for the warmer months that wouldn't weigh me down and wouldn't amp up my underlying skin problems. This is a lovely, lightweight moisturizer that doesn't sting when my face is flaring. Started with a sample, have added it to my upcoming order basket.
Hi CeeCee
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with our Ceramide Hydrating Complex Serum! We're so glad to hear that it's been a gentle and effective solution for your reactive skin, especially during the warmer months when finding the right balance can be tricky. It means a lot to know the formula provided comfort without any stinging, even during flare-ups. We're honored it made its way from sample to your basket, and we hope it continues to support your skin beautifully.

Update - Much Better!
This serum is now working for me! As of July, the blemishes stopped and the hydration began taking effect so I've since bought a few more bottles of it. Maybe it was just an adjustment period for my skin. I like to mix the product with drops of two of my choice oils, or layering it on top of a skin barrier-supportive, ceramide-rich oil serum. I alternate this lovely serum with yet another ceramide-rich product. It seems my skin can actually handle (and even enjoy) creamy textures when the formulations are top-notch and this GoW product seems to be among those.
S. Thank you so much for sharing your updated experience! We're absolutely delighted to hear that the serum is now working beautifully for your skin and that it’s become a key part of your routine. It’s wonderful that you gave your skin time to adjust! Sometimes that transition period can really pay off, as it clearly has here.
Your creative approach to mixing and layering with ceramide rich products and oils shows such a mindful understanding of your skin's needs, and we’re honored that our serum has earned a place in your carefully curated lineup. Hearing that your skin now enjoys creamy textures when paired with brilliant (yep, I said it) formulations makes your feedback even more rewarding.
We appreciate your trust in our product and your thoughtful insights. It means so much to us! If there’s ever anything else we can do to support your skincare journey, don’t hesitate to reach out.

A Soothing Light Ceramide Alternative (that I Wish Had Worked for Me!)
I so wanted this product to work out for me in attempting to heal a damaged skin barrier but I'm 99% sure it has broken me out and badly (clogs and pimples around my eyes and my upper cheeks and a few upon my forehead). I pushed through using it for 6 weeks now and have (reluctantly) decided to quit it as of today. I did, however, find it quite soothing. I'm not sure my skin tolerates any cream - no matter how light. I will also say that I failed to find this particularly hydrating - despite following what ought to be quite a hydrating routine. I do realize that a sad skin barrier contributes to dryness, dehydration, break-outs (all manner of skin nightmares, really). Prior to using this, I was dealing with 2-4 blemishes at a time since my barrier 'broke' and am now up to 20. I patch tested this serum, but sometimes it takes more time for issues with a product to show up on the skin, unfortunately (especially where clogs and break-outs are concerned).
I thought, perhaps, the issue was with the way I was applying this serum when it came to the oils I use on my face - whether I layer an oil on top, mix it into the serum, or put the oil on underneath it. Neither of these have worked. Aye me.
Indeed, it is a lovely, lighter alternative as far as ceramide products go (as so many on the market are quite heavy). I'm presently considering applying it just once every few days for its healing and soothing properties (because I'm stubborn and desperate at this point!), rather than daily to see how it works then but, overall, it seems this serum isn't for me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with our Soothing Light Ceramide Alternative. We're really sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you, especially with your skin barrier concerns. We know how frustrating it can be when a product doesn’t suit your skin, despite the best intentions and efforts. Everyone's skin is so unique, and it sounds like your skin may be more sensitive to creams or certain formulations.
We truly appreciate your feedback on the lightweight texture and soothing properties, and we understand that hydration can sometimes be a challenge when dealing with a compromised skin barrier.
We hope you find relief and healing on your skincare journey, and we’re always here if you need us!

It's really hard to find a fungal acne-safe body lotion! This lotion is light, and it's not instantly transformative, but over the past month or so I think it has helped the dry patches on my elbows and knees. I wish it was a tad richer, but I don't know if that's possible while also keeping it FA-safe. So I'll probably keep it in my routine!
Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review, Caroline! -`♡´- We’re glad you’re beginning to see improvement in those stubborn dry areas. We also truly appreciate your feedback about wanting a little more richness while keeping the formula fungal acne-friendly. That balance can be tricky, but your input is incredibly helpful to us!

Absolute best thing for my white dry flyaway hair. 1/2 tsp MCT Oil heated with 1/4 tsp Cetyl Alcohol in a baby food jar in water in a leg wax warmer. When melted I add 1 tsp Distilled Water. I let cool in the warmer & apply to hair.
Hi Laura ♡♡♡
This is so interesting and clever! We love hearing how our customers put their ingredients to work! Knowing the Cetyl Alcohol has been the answer for smoothing and softening your dry, flyaway hair is inspiring. Keep up with the great ideas. Since your mixture contains water, we recommend making only a tiny amount at a time and using it fresh. Or adding a preservative if you're not going to use it right away. :)

this seems like a very good product, but may be wrong for my skin type. i have rosacea and eczema, and mostly oily skin. i was hoping to find a product that would improve my heavily congested nose and chin without making all the red patches on my cheeks and eye area worse. i tried the product as both a toner and a facial spray, but found it slowly dried out my cheeks and made them redder. so now am am just applying only to my nose and cheeks, and it seems to be helping now, in conjunction with the oat serum. the product has the consistency of a typical toner, and it is scentless. it does not sting or burn when sprayed on, even in the eye area. it feels neither drying nor hydrating, and does not leave you looking greasy.
Hi Donna ♡

Thought: you could add about 2-3% glycerin to amp up the hydration.

Good for emerging blemishes
I like this stuff! My blemishes are usually just tiny irritated white heads or bumps with nothing in them. If I put this on at night, things are much calmer in the morning. It even seems to have a minimizing effect on the few deep painful cystic guys I get, so they end up fading away rather than coming to the surface full of rage. And so far I haven't had any irritation (and I have very sensitive skin). I put this on after my last oil stage, after things have dried down a bit. I feel like that works best since I use it as a spot treatment, and putting it on under other stuff seems like it would just spread it around.

This is the best one!
This is the best one! My skin is sensitive to unusual things and the leucidal hyaluronic acid serums don't give me any issue. I prefer the honey to the regular because it helps my acne. I had to order the regular/pure HA serum last time and I definitely noticed breakouts lasting longer. Honey comb is the way to go!
